Te Ahi Kōmau – Food, Fire, Festival

Whakapapa is the hua parakore principle of genology and connection to the land and each other. We start our meetings with an introduction of each person's whakapapa. This helps us connect deeper. We will be using this information simply to know the whakapapa of our attendees so we can be even better hosts in the future.

We saw so many new faces from all different backgrounds and places. We know some of you had a first time experience at a marae. Please share with us if this was your first experienc.

We feel our event was a great success for the very first time and in the world of COVID-19. But, we also know that everyone's experience is different. We are looking to demonstrate the strength of our communities and would like to hear from you about your experience.
